Overview

South African Research has identified a scarcity of Critical and Essential Skills in our country. This gap was iterated at the 2023 World Economic Forum, which listed similar and more critical skills that are needed for future leaders.

This complete Critical and Essential Skills programme for Leaders (CES-2) is presented by subject experts and specialists, with years of experience in their field of business.  The content has been carefully constructed and integrated to link the modules, with the intent of creating a major paradigm shift in perceptions and behaviour of individuals within the world in which we co-exist.

Combined with exclusive theory, this programme has immersive sessions that does deep dives into the practical experience of the theory, which will transform the conscious leader into a fully balanced and conscious individual for future growth. CES-2 consists of a blend of progressive subjects and topics to develop the untouched skills of a leader.  It is aligned with accredited content, to create opportunities in the Recognition of Prior Learning career pathways. These sought-after skills will give the leader of the future the critical, analytical, creative and sensitive judgement abilities within diverse societies. It will promote conflict reduction for a peaceful and balanced life. Attention is given the human and environmental rights of everyday life that we take for granted.

Programme Features

  • 6-month programme with each module running for 3 (three) days of every month over a fixed calendar schedule.
  • In-contact course with one or two trainings conducted virtually by the facilitator.
  • Immersive sessions are invigorating and challenges the status quo.
  • Groups of no more than 20 will participate in each course.
  • Independent courses can be arranged for companies or communities with a limited number of attendees.
  • Interested individuals can inquire about availability on existing courses.

The CES-2 programme includes the following modules reflecting some topics:

  1. Leadership Management - Creative, Critical and Cognitive thinking with Emotional Intelligence for future leaders; Human Talent and AI.
  2. The Human Factor - Human Rights of Today Living in a Neurodiverse Society; Ergonomics for a healthy physical and psychological well-being.
  3. Mindful Consciousness - Positive and Emotional Intelligence in socially and culturally diverse worlds;  Gender Based Violence is a Human Rights issue.
  4. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) - The origins of ignoring the highest risks to society; dissecting and interpreting the successes and failures of our world in relation to EDI.
  5. The Social Impact on our Environment - The blind eye that increases climate disasters and conflict; Value of the Blue, Green and Circular Economies.
  6. Peace @ Work - Leadership – Blessing or Curse; Personal, Social, Environmental Conflict; Alternative Dispute Resolution in hostile environments including that of AI.
